Air Cooler Cleaner ACC9 is a very effective mixture of solvents, surfactants, strong emulsifiers and penetrating agents formulated to penetrate and remove mineral oils, grease and other deposits from air coolers and turbochargers in marine engines.
Application:

Direction For Use:
Air Cooler Cleaner ACC9 can be applied by immersion, circulation or injection. For immersion and circulation, cleaning time is reduced considerably by heating the chemical to maximum 50°C. If the air coolers are very dirty it may be advisable to use undiluted product by means of circulation method to thoroughly clean the system before commencing Air Cooler Cleaner ACC9 injection treatment.
Immersion bath:
Dependent on design, the cooler is flooded with Air Cooler Cleaner ACC9 immersed in a tank full of product. The product should be heated to approx. 50°C and agitation provided with an air line. After 2 hours, drain off and flush well with water, followed by drying with an air line.
Circulation method:
Some designs of cooler can be circulated "in situ". In this case a pump tank and pipe system is fitted permanently or connections are provided for connecting a temporary circuit. The system should be filled with Air Cooler Cleaner ACC9 circulation carried out for 2 - 4 hours at a temperature of up to 50°C.
After cleaning the cooler should be thoroughly flushed with fresh water and dried with an air line.
Note: Both cleaning methods benefit from heat of up to 50°C and cleaning times can be reduced or extended dependent on temperature and degree of fouling.
Direct injection:
Air Cooler Cleaner ACC9 has the approval of the majority of major manufacturers for use either in their own design of "in service" cleaning system or other recognized systems provided by suppliers.

Carbon Tetrachloride is a clear liquid that evaporates very easily. Most carbon tetrachloride that escapes to the environment is therefore found as a gas. Carbon tetrachloride does not easily burn. It has a sweet odor, and most people can begin to smell it in air when the concentration reaches 10 parts carbon tetrachloride per million parts of air (ppm). In the past, carbon tetrachloride was widely used as a cleaning fluid (in industry and dry cleaning establishments as a degreasing agent, and in households as a spot remover for clothing, furniture, and carpeting). Carbon tetrachloride was also used in fire extinguishers and as a fumigant to kill insects in grain.
Application:
