Nitric Acid 62-68% is a colorless to slightly yellowish liquid. Nitric Acid is miscible with all portions of water. Nitric Acid 68% is an acid CIP cleaner. It is a non-foaming acid that breaks up and removes mineral deposits that build up on equipment surfaces. Used as recommended it does not corrode stainless steel.
Application:
-Produce ammonium nitrate fertilizer;
-In metal cleaning, etching, and manufacturing explosives;
-As a wet etchant in semiconductor manufacturing at a standard concentration of 67%
