Canada Chemicals is one of the leading Sodium molybdate Exporters, Manufacturers, Suppliers, and Producers in Vancouver, Montreal, Ontario, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa Canada. We are supplied to various industrial markets including Household, Institutional Cleaning, Personal Care, and Industrial sectors including Oil fields, chemical, Animal feed additive, Food additive, Agrochemical, Fertilizer, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, Minerals, Lubricants, Marine Industry, Metal Working chemical industry, and Coatings markets.

Sodium molybdate, Na2MoO4, is useful as a source of molybdenum. This white, crystalline salt is often found as the dihydrate, Na2MoO4·2H2O. The molybdate(VI) anion is tetrahedral. Two sodium cations coordinate with every one anion.

Application

Used in the measurement of acid and alkali, raw material for the production of fire retardant. It can also be used in circulating cooling systems, metalworking liquid, and other fields as corrosion in. And also can use for fertilizer.

Sodium molybdate can be used in the making of alkaloids, reagents, dye, molybdenum red pigment, molybdenum, the material of fire retardant, and its catalyst can be used as an inhibitor.

Applications: used as a catalyst for the petrochemical industry, in the metallurgic industry, it is used for making molybdenum powder, molybdenum bar, molybdenum wire, and molybdenum plate, it can also be used for the microelement of the fertilizer and ceramic pigment making and metal surface treatment, raw materials for pigment and other molybdenum products.

Uses

The agriculture industry uses 1 million pounds per year as a fertilizer. In particular, its use has been suggested for the treatment of whiptail in broccoli and cauliflower in molybdenum-deficient soils. However, care must be taken because a level of 0.3 ppm sodium molybdate can cause copper deficiencies in animals, particularly cattle.

It is used in industry for corrosion inhibition, as it is a non-oxidizing anodic inhibitor. The addition of sodium molybdate significantly reduces the nitrite requirement of fluids inhibited with nitrite-amine and improves the corrosion protection of carboxylate salt fluids. In industrial water treatment applications where galvanic corrosion is a potential due to bimetallic construction, the application of sodium molybdate is preferred over sodium nitrite. Sodium molybdate has the advantage in that the dosing of lower ppm's of molybdate allows for lower conductivity of the circulating water.

Sodium molybdate at levels of 50-100 ppm offers the same levels of corrosion inhibition as sodium nitrite at levels of 800+ ppm. By utilizing lower concentrations of sodium molybdate, conductivity is kept at a minimum and thus galvanic corrosion potentials are decreased.

Canada Chemicals is one of the leading Xanthan gum Exporters, Manufacturers, Suppliers, and Producers in Vancouver, Montreal, Ontario, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa Canada. We are supplied to various industrial markets including Household, Institutional Cleaning, Personal Care, and Industrial sectors including Oil fields, chemical, Animal feed additive, Food additive, Agrochemical, Fertilizer, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, Minerals, Lubricants, Marine Industry, Metal Working chemical industry, and Coatings markets.

Xanthan gum is a polysaccharide with many industrial uses, including as a common food additive. It is an effective thickening agent and stabilizer to prevent ingredients from separating. It can be produced from simple sugars using a fermentation process and derives its name from the species of bacteria used, Xanthomonas campestris.

Xanthan Gum in food :

xanthan gum is most often found in salad dressings and sauces. It helps to prevent oil separation by stabilizing the emulsion, although it is not an emulsifier. Xanthan gum also helps suspend solid particles, such as spices. Xanthan gum helps create a pleasant texture in many ice creams, along with guar gum and locust bean gum.

Xanthan Gum in the oil industry :

In the oil industry, xanthan gum is used in large quantities, usually to thicken drilling mud. These fluids serve to carry the solids cut by the drilling bit back to the surface. Xanthan gum provides great "low end" rheology. When the circulation stops, the solids still remain suspended in the drilling fluid. The widespread use of horizontal drilling and the demand for good control of drilled solids has led to its expanded use. It has also been added to concrete poured underwater, to increase its viscosity and prevent washout.

What are xanthan gum and xanthan gum manufacturers?

It is present in a good number of foods, although it is an unknown component for the majority. Xanthan or xanthan gum is a natural additive (usually appears as E-415), a polysaccharide resulting from the fermentation of a bacterium (Xanthomonas Campestris)

Used by the food industry for the good solubility of xanthan gum, both in cold and hot water and for its stability. But there is more. We discovered its alimentary use and its cosmetic use.

In what Foods is Xanthan Gum?

• Xanthan gum is used in beverages and fruit juices, to give it a better appearance when, for example, it contains fruit pulp particles.
• Xanthan gum is used as a stabilizer for ice cream, sorbets, and sauces and in salad dressings.
• Xanthan gum is also used in bakery products with refrigerated doughs. In some products, it is used as a substitute for egg white without altering the final appearance or taste.
• Xanthan gum provides consistency to buttercreams or chocolate toppings.
• Due to its thickener effect, like guar gum, it is used for baked foods.
• It can be used as a substitute for gluten in the preparation of pasta or bread.

Xanthan Gum Cosmetic Use

The cosmetic industry has also been able to see the properties of xanthan gum as a stabilizer and binder, that is, to prevent its components from separating. Xanthan gum can be found in:
• Toothpaste
• Bathroom gels
• Shampoos
• Creams and makeup
• Lotions and body ointments

Widely used as salt/acid resistant thickener, high efficient suspension agent and emulsifier, high viscosity filling agent in
various food and beverage. It can not only enhance the performance of water-keeping and shape-keeping but also improve the freeze/thaw stability and taste of food and beverage products.

Canada Chemicals is one of the leading Urea 46% Exporters, Manufacturers, Suppliers, and Producers in Vancouver, Montreal, Ontario, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa Canada. We are supplied to various industrial markets including Household, Institutional Cleaning, Personal Care, and Industrial sectors including Oil fields, chemical, Animal feed additive, Food additive, Agrochemical, Fertilizer, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, Minerals, Lubricants, Marine Industry, Metal Working chemical industry, and Coatings markets.

Urea 46%, also known as carbamide, is an organic compound with the chemical formula CO(NH2)2. It is a colorless, odorless solid, highly soluble in water, and practically non-toxic. Dissolved in water, it is neither acidic nor alkaline. The introduction and the scientific invention of Urea are identified as life-changing events in the history of agriculture. Urea N46% is the world's most common nitrogen fertilizer and has been used uniformly in all the agricultural lands of the world. Never before this, agriculture had seen such booming heights in production as well as prosperity. Urea is neutral in pH and can adapt to almost all kinds of soils. It is a waste product formed naturally by metabolizing protein in humans as well as other mammals, amphibians, and some fish. Urea is widely used in the agricultural sector both as a fertilizer and animal feed additive.

Other names

Carbamide
Carbonyldiamide
Carbonyldiamine
Diaminomethanal
Diaminomethanone

Urea serves an important role in the metabolism of nitrogen-containing compounds by animals and is the main nitrogen-containing substance in the urine of mammals. It is a colorless, odorless solid, highly soluble in water, and practically non-toxic (LD50 is 15 g/kg for rats). Dissolved in water, it is neither acidic nor alkaline. The body uses it in many processes, most notably nitrogen excretion. The liver forms it by combining two ammonia molecules (NH3) with a carbon dioxide (CO2) molecule in the urea cycle. Urea is widely used in fertilizers as a source of nitrogen (N) and is an important raw material for the chemical industry.

More than 90% of world industrial production of urea is destined for use as a nitrogen-release fertilizer. Urea has the highest nitrogen content of all solid nitrogenous fertilizers in common use. Therefore, it has low transportation costs per unit of nitrogen nutrient. The most common impurity of synthetic urea is biuret, which impairs plant growth. Urea breaks down in the soil to give ammonium. The ammonium is taken up by the plant. In some soils, the ammonium is oxidized by bacteria to give nitrate, which is also a plant nutrient.

The loss of nitrogenous compounds to the atmosphere and runoff is both wasteful and environmentally damaging. For this reason, urea is sometimes pretreated or modified to enhance the efficiency of its agricultural use. One such technology is controlled-release fertilizers, which contain urea encapsulated in an inert sealant. Another technology is the conversion of urea into derivatives, such as formaldehyde, which degrades into ammonia at a pace matching plants' nutritional requirements.

Resins

Urea is a raw material for the manufacture of two main classes of materials: urea-formaldehyde resins and urea-melamine-formaldehyde used in marine plywood.

Miscellaneous uses

An ingredient in diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), is 32.5% urea and 67.5% de-ionized water. DEF is sprayed into the exhaust stream of diesel vehicles to break down dangerous NOx emissions into harmless nitrogen and water.

A component of animal feed provides a relatively cheap source of nitrogen to promote growth.

A non-corroding alternative to rock salt for road de-icing. It is often the main ingredient of pet-friendly salt substitutes although it is less effective than traditional rock salt or calcium chloride.

The main ingredient in hair removers such as Nair and Veet.
A browning agent in factory-produced pretzels.
An ingredient in some skin creams, moisturizers, hair conditioners, and shampoos.
A cloud seeding agent, along with other salts.
A flame-proofing agent is commonly used in dry chemical fire extinguisher charges such as the urea-potassium bicarbonate mixture.

An ingredient in many tooth whitening products.
An ingredient in dish soap.

Along with diammonium phosphate, as a yeast nutrient, for fermentation of sugars into ethanol.

Canada Chemicals is one of the leading Hypochlorous acid Exporters, Manufacturers, Suppliers, and Producers in Vancouver, Montreal, Ontario, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa Canada. We are supplied to various industrial markets including Household, Institutional Cleaning, Personal Care, and Industrial sectors including Oil fields, chemical, Animal feed additive, Food additive, Agrochemical, Fertilizer, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, Minerals, Lubricants, Marine Industry, Metal Working chemical industry, and Coatings markets.

Hypochlorous acid (HOCl or HClO) is a weak acid that forms when chlorine dissolves in water, and itself partially dissociates, forming hypochlorite, ClO−. HClO and ClO− are oxidizers and the primary disinfection agents of chlorine solutions. HClO cannot be isolated from these solutions due to rapid equilibration with its precursor. Sodium hypochlorite (NaClO) and calcium hypochlorite (Ca(ClO)2), are bleaches, deodorants, and disinfectants.

Uses
In organic synthesis, HClO converts alkenes to chlorohydrins.
In biology, hypochlorous acid is generated in activated neutrophils by myeloperoxidase-mediated peroxidation of chloride ions and contributes to the destruction of bacteria.

In medicine, hypochlorous acid water has been used as a disinfectant and sanitizer.

In disinfection, it has been used in the form of liquid spray, wet wipes, and aerosolized applications. Recent studies have shown hypochlorous acid water to be suitable for fog and aerosolized application for disinfection chambers and suitable for disinfecting indoor settings such as offices, hospitals, and healthcare clinics.

In foodservice and water distribution, specialized equipment to generate weak solutions of HClO from water and salt is sometimes used to generate adequate quantities of safe (unstable) disinfectant to treat food preparation surfaces and water supplies. It is also commonly used in restaurants due to its non-flammable and non-toxic characteristics.

In water treatment, hypochlorous acid is the active sanitizer in hypochlorite-based products (e.g. used in swimming pools).
Similarly, in ships and yachts, marine sanitation devices[20] use electricity to convert seawater into hypochlorous acid to disinfect macerated fecal waste before discharge into the sea.

In deodorization, hypochlorous acid has been tested to remove up to 99% of foul odors including garbage, rotten meat, toilet, stool, and urine odors.

Hypochlorous acid has a small molecular weight and is easy to diffuse to the surface of the bacteria and penetrate the cell membrane into the bacteria body, oxidizing the bacteria protein and causing the bacteria to die. It is a new type of disinfectant. In some hospitals in Japan, there will be a hypochlorous acid water disinfection system for various disinfection in the hospital.

Canada Chemicals is one of the leading Sodium benzoate Exporters, Manufacturers, Suppliers, and Producers in Vancouver, Montreal, Ontario, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa Canada. We are supplied to various industrial markets including Household, Institutional Cleaning, Personal Care, and Industrial sectors including Oil fields, chemical, Animal feed additive, Food additive, Agrochemical, Fertilizer, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, Minerals, Lubricants, Marine Industry, Metal Working chemical industry, and Coatings markets.

Sodium benzoate is the sodium salt of benzoic acid, widely used as a food preservative and pickling agent. A white crystalline chemical with the formula C6H5COONa, it has an E number of E211. It can be produced by reacting sodium hydroxide with benzoic acid.

Sodium benzoate is produced by the neutralization of benzoic acid, which is itself produced commercially by partial oxidation of toluene with oxygen.

Natural occurrence

Many foods are natural sources of benzoic acid, its salts (such as sodium benzoate), and its esters. Fruits and vegetables can be rich sources, particularly berries such as cranberry and bilberry. Other sources include seafood, such as prawns, and dairy products.

Sodium Benzoate has been extensively used for many years as a preservative to control microbial growth. It is used in the food and beverage industries, pharmaceuticals, cosmetic products, corrosion inhibitors in automotive, and other antifreeze products. A range of high-quality benzoic acid grades is offered to meet the differences.

A white crystalline grain or powder. It is widely used as a food preservative produced by the reaction of sodium hydroxide with benzoic acid. Sodium Benzoate is a better molds and yeasts inhibitor and since acidity foods grow bacteria, mold and yeast quickly, it is the cheapest way to preserve them.

Application Of Sodium Benzoate:

1. Sodium Benzoate is used in acidic foods and drinks and products to control bacteria, mold, yeasts, and other microbes as a food additive. It interferes with their ability to make energy.

2. Sodium Benzoate is used most prevalently in acidic foods such as salad dressings (vinegar), carbonated drinks (carbonic acid), jams and fruit juices (citric acid), pickles (vinegar), and condiments.

3. Sodium Benzoate can also be used in medicine, tobacco, printing and dyeing.

Soft Drinks

According to the International Program on Chemical Safety, sodium benzoate is heavily used by the soft drink industry
due to the demand for high-fructose corn syrup in Carbonated drinks. Sodium benzoate increases the acidity of soft drinks, which also increases the intensity of flavor you get from the high-fructose corn syrup. On the back of a soda can, you can
find sodium benzoate in the ingredients list as E211, which is the number assigned to it as a food additive.

Other food

Sodium benzoate is primarily added to acidic foods to enhance their flavor. It can be found in foods such as pickles, sauces,
jams, and fruit juices. Foods that contain vinegar, such as salad dressings, typically contain very high levels of sodium
benzoate. Benzene, a precursor to sodium benzoate, can be found in very small amounts naturally in some fruits, vegetables,
meats, dairy products and even drinking water.

Sodium benzoate is also used in fireworks as a fuel in whistle mix, a powder that emits a whistling noise when compressed into a tube and ignited.

Potassium citrate is known as Tripotassium citrate. Potassium citrate is citrate that is a white, slightly hygroscopic, crystalline powder. Odorless, with the taste of saline, soluble in water, soluble in glycerol, insoluble in alcohol, taste salty and cold. For preservatives, stabilizers and pH buffers, and so on. Medically, it can be used to control uric acid or cystine from kidney stones for the prevention and treatment of hypokalemia and alkalinization of urine.

As a food additive, potassium citrate is used to regulate acidity and is known as E number E332. Medicinally, it may be used to control kidney stones derived from uric acid or cystine.

Usage of  Potassium Citrate

White crystal or powder; odorless; tastes salty; slightly deliquescence; readily soluble in water or glycerine, almost insoluble in ethanol (Relative density 1.98, it will melt and decompose when heated to 230ºC).

In the food processing industry, it is used as a buffering agent, chelate agent, stabilizer, antibiotic oxidizer, emulsifier, flavor
regulator, used in dairy products, jellies, jam, meat, and tinned pastry.

Used as an emulsifier in cheese and used in citrus freshening.
In pharmaceuticals, it is used for curing hypokalemia, potassium depletion, and alkalization of urine.

Potassium citrate is a kind of white or light yellow crystalline particle or crystalline powder, odorless, salty, cool, deliquescent, easily soluble in water, almost insoluble in ethanol.
Potassium Citrate is used as a preservative, stabilizer, and pH buffering agent. According to my country's regulations, it can be used for all kinds of food and used inappropriate amounts according to production needs.

Potassium Citrate is used in food, medicine, and other industries as a buffer, chelating agent, flavoring agent, stabilizer, antioxidant, emulsifying salt, etc.

Uses

Potassium citrate is rapidly absorbed when given by mouth and is excreted in the urine. Since it is an alkaline salt, it is effective in reducing the pain and frequency of urination when these are caused by highly acidic urine. It is used for this purpose in dogs and cats but is chiefly employed as a non-irritating diuretic.

Potassium citrate is an effective way to treat/manage gout and arrhythmia if the patient is hypokalemic.

It is widely used to treat urinary calculi (kidney stones) and is often used by patients with cystinuria. A study of 500 patients with recurrent stones found that it reduced the frequency of stones from 2 per year to 0.5 per year.

It is also used as an alkalizing agent in the treatment of mild urinary tract infections, such as cystitis.

It is also used in many soft drinks as a buffering agent.

Frequently used in an aqueous solution with other potassium salts, it is a wet chemical fire suppressant that is particularly useful against kitchen fires. Its alkaline pH encourages saponification to insulate the fuel from oxidizing air, and the endothermic dehydration reaction absorbs heat energy to reduce temperatures.

Canada Chemicals is one of the leading Silica gel Exporters, Manufacturers, Suppliers, and Producers in Vancouver, Montreal, Ontario, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa Canada. We are supplied to various industrial markets including Household, Institutional Cleaning, Personal Care, and Industrial sectors including Oil fields, chemical, Animal feed additive, Food additive, Agrochemical, Fertilizer, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, Minerals, Lubricants, Marine Industry, Metal Working chemical industry, and Coatings markets.

Silica gel is an amorphous and porous form of silicon dioxide (silica), consisting of an irregular tridimensional framework of alternating silicon and oxygen atoms with nanometer-scale voids and pores. The voids may contain water or some other liquids or may be filled by gas or vacuum. In the last case, the material is properly called silica xerogel.

Silica xerogel is usually commercialized as coarse granules or beads, a few millimeters in diameter. Some grains may contain small amounts of indicator substance that changes color when they have absorbed some water. Small paper envelopes containing silica xerogel pellets, usually with a "do not eat" warning, are often included in dry food packages to absorb any humidity that might cause spoilage of the food.

'Wet' silica gel, as may be freshly prepared from alkali silicate solutions, may vary in consistency from a soft transparent gel, similar to gelatin or agar, to a hard solid, namely a water-logged xerogel. It is sometimes used in laboratory processes, for example, to suppress convection in liquids or prevent the settling of suspended particles.

Silica gel is a transparent, glass-like, granular particle, usually obtained by the reaction of sodium silicate and sulfuric acid, and after a series of processes such as aging and acid bubbles. Its main component is silica. As a desiccant, it has an average pore size of 2.4 nanometers and has a strong affinity for water molecules. It absorbs water through physical adsorption, does not change its state after absorbing moisture, and has a strong hygroscopic ability, which can effectively protect food or medicine from moisture.

Orange silica gel, also known as "cobalt-free color-changing silica gel", is also an environmentally friendly desiccant and belongs to silicone products. The appearance is orange or translucent glass-like particles. It has a strong moisture absorption capacity and its appearance color will produce obvious color changes with the increase of moisture absorption during the moisture absorption process. It can be used as a raw material for environmentally friendly desiccants.

Blue silica gel, also call "Color-changing silica gel " is an indicator adsorbent with high added value and high technical content after deep processing, which is made from fine porous silica gel, a highly active adsorbent.

Blue silica gel is ideal as a primary desiccant or blended with other desiccants in any application where visual control of moisture is required. sSORB silica gel beads are saturated with a moisture indicating solution that gives them a deep blue color when dry. The color changes from blue to purple to pink as it absorbs moisture.

Application:

Drying and cleaning of air and gases.
Drying of analytical samples.
Drying of solvents.
Drying of synthesis products.
Optical instruments and devices.
Protection of Export Consignments from moisture in a salty atmosphere
Drying and storage of Flowers and Seeds

The desiccant in gas industry, dehydration, and purification in Oxygen, Hydrogen, and Chlorine,
In the steel refinery industry and oxygen plant,it can be used to remove ethane from oxygen. Etc

Silica Gel is also used in Dehumidifiers. Desiccant Dehumidifier white silica gel is used.

Silica Gel is also used in the Analysis of Chemicals.

Water filtration

Given the water adsorption properties of silica gel, it is used in domestic water filters. The surface structure of silica gel allows the adsorption of some minerals that are dissolved in the water, or "Ion-exchange" as it is marketed. Due to the lack of regulations for domestic water filtration products, no studies validate the manufacturer claims regarding the effectiveness of the filtration system.

Are you looking for customized Specialty Oleochemicals of high quality? Canada Chemical is one of the leading such manufacturers and suppliers, which is waiting for you to buy Specialty  Oleochemicals, in stock from us.

Specialty Oleochemicals are derived from plant-based feedstocks such as sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, soybean oil, and palm oil. They are highly-priced chemicals that earn high-profit margins and are green in nature compared to their petrochemical counterparts. Increasing consumer demand for bio-surfactants, biodegradable polymers, and lubricants has increased the consumption of specialty oleochemicals.

Furthermore, growing concerns regarding plastic/polymers' biodegradability have triggered manufacturers to focus on the development of bio-based alternatives. The major application for specialty oleochemicals includes personal care, cosmetics, consumer goods, food processing, textiles, paints & inks, healthcare & pharmaceuticals, polymer & plastic additives, and others.
