RXSOL-16-1095-025 can be undercooled or overheated during storage but remains fully usable when returned to normal temperature.

MESH CONTAMINATED WITH HEAVY OIL:

Elements contaminated with heavy oil must be soaked in a standard commercial aromatic solvent. After soaking the elements are cleaned by a high-pressure Cleaning Device using RXSOL-16-1095-025 solution.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

The use of RXSOL-16-1095-025 is not restricted to a particular method of cleaning. Depending on the operating conditions, RXSOL-16-1095-025 can be used in a dip bath, in a spraying plant, in a steam jet, or in a manual application using a cloth, brush, or sponge. It can be used warm or cold. RXSOL-16-1095-025 is miscible with water - even seawater.

Concentration for mesh cleaning: 1 : 2,5
Temperature: up to a maximum of 60 °C

The concentration depends on the type and thickness of the adhesive substance to be removed. When used in concentration below 1: 30 rinsing is usually not required. No visible film remains on the surface.

Using Procedure: 

It May be used directly or diluted in the ratio of 1 part concentrate to 5 parts water, ( or 1 . Ratio of any solvent like diesel )

Manual Cleaning of the Candle Filter Elements

NOTE ::: Drained the automatic filter by automatic back-flushing (i.e. all filter chambers).

1 Then soak the filter element assembly, with the openings of the candle elements facing down in a suitable tank filled with RXSOL-16-1095-025 solvent.

2 The soaking time completely depends on the cleaning method :
a)In cold RXSOL-16-1095-025 cleaner the maximum soaking time is 24 hours.
b)In hot solution the maximum soaking time is 12 hours.

3. After soaking remove the whole filter element assembly from the tank and dry to keep all parts in place it on suitable perforated sheet metal.

4. Then you may blow compressed air through the candles from the inside to the outside.

5. After this procedure the complete filter element assembly should be immersed in fresh cleaner, with the candle element opening down-wards, and rinsed through with an up and down motion.

6 Allow the filter element assembly to drain again and dry it by blowing compressed air through it again from the inside to the outside. The manual cleaning procedure described here has produced adequate results (ca. 60 % clean) in similar applications.

Note: CLEANING of the filter can be enhanced with a high-pressure machine.

Potassium iodate is white or colorless crystalline powder, a colorless monoclinic crystal. Both KIO3.HIO3 and KIO3.2HIO3are colorless monoclinic crystals, odorless. It is soluble in the boiling water easily, and can be melted in water,dilute acid, ethylenediamine, aminoethyl alcohol and Potassium iodide solution, but it is soluble in liquid sulfur dioxide and liquid sulfur dioxide slightly. Moreover, insoluble in alcohol and ammonia. 

As strong oxidizer, it will be reduced and free the iodine when reacting with some reducing substances, such as hydrogen sulfide, hydriodic acid, sulfur dioxide, and hydrogen etc. Potassium iodatesolution can be reduced to iodide by x- ray or alpha partical, and it will burn slightly suddenly if you put the solid Potassium iodate on red-hot charcoal. When mixed with combustible objects, it will explode if they collide each other. Potassium iodate can be oxidized to potassium periodate by some stronger oxidizing agent, such as chlorine and hypochlorous acid In an alkaline medium.

Potassium iodate is sometimes used for iodination of table salt to prevent iodine deficiency. Because iodide can be oxidized to iodine by molecular oxygen under wet conditions, US companies add thiosulfates or other antioxidants to the potassium iodide. In other countries, potassium iodate is used as a source for dietary iodine. It is also an ingredient in some baby formula milk.

Like potassium bromate, potassium iodate is occasionally used as a maturing agent in baking.

Potassium Iodate is a source of iodine made by reacting iodine with potassium hydroxide. it is a crystalline powder which is more stable than iodide. it has a solubility of 1 g in 15 ml of water. it is used as a fast-acting dough improver; it is used with potassium bromate as an oxidizing agent to modify the protein in bread flour which pro- motes loaf volume and shape. it is used in baked goods.
