ULTRASONIC CLEANER PD 400 is a high-performance, heavy-duty ultrasonic cleaning powder. Heavy duty degreassing and carbon dust, rust & burned oil removal. Good paint removal. It is fast acting and long lasting, and offers superior performance at a cost savings, plus time and space. It is easy to handle, mild to operator hands NO fuming problems. It is odorless, ammonia-free, and non-flammable.
It offers superior cleaning and degreasing for metals, ceramics, plastics, and other hard surfaces. The formulation effectively removes oils, carbon residues, fine particulates, machining coolants, and stubborn dirt without damaging delicate components.

ULTRASONIC CLEANER PD 400 Powder Solution removes general oils, and light oils and greases from components and products found in machine and metalworking shops, chemical plants and petrochemical refineries, automotive plants, appliance factories, telecommunications equipment producers, printing plants, and many other industrial, manufacturing and fabricating facilities.

How to use ULTRASONIC CLEANER PD 400

  1. Prepare ultrasonic tank with water (preferably DI or soft water).
  2. Add PD 400 at 10–50 g/L depending on level of soiling.
  3. Heat the solution to 40–80°C for best results.
  4. Immerse parts and activate ultrasonic cleaning cycle (5–20 min).
  5. Rinse parts thoroughly with clean water and dry.
  6. Suitable for use in industrial, marine, automotive, electronics, and maintenance sectors.
ULTRASONIC CLEANER PD 400 is safe for:
 
  • Stainless steel
  • Copper alloys
  • Glass, ceramics
  • Hard plastics
  • Aluminum (short exposure recommended; test first)
 
Avoid prolonged use on:
  • Painted or anodized parts without testing
  • Magnesium or highly reactive soft alloys
Product Note:
Choose adequate detergent. The detergents boost ultrasonic performance, helping to achieve the best results. Our powerful cavitation diminishes detergent consumption, obtaining savings in operations cost up to 85.000 € during equipment time. We recommend PDU 400 for steel parts, and PDU 200/201 for aluminum parts.
 
Rinsing after ultrasonic cleaning. The wash can hold on several months. However, the water of the ultrasonic tank gets dirty due to repetitive and systematic cleaning. Thus, it is recommendable to rinse parts once extracted. As soon as parts are extracted, they remain at the platform lift, so it can be rinsing with a connected hose in the network. Water will fall into the ultrasonic tank, returning residual detergent of the parts and dragging the loose particles. In the case of elevated number of cleaning parts, it is recommendable to obtain a rising tank.
 
Part grouping according typology. It is recommendable to use baskets for each type of parts. The parts with similar characteristics have similar cleaning parameters. Grouping by same characteristic parts is perfect for an efficient and homogenous process. The basket contributes to easy use when depositing parts in the machine. As well, parts can be equipped with mobile carts to transport within the workshop.
 
 
Parts with rust and paint. In many cases the clients have the necessity to eliminate rust and paint residues. RXSOL has design a specific detergent (PDU-400), to eliminate dirt in ferrous parts without the necessity of sandblasting and workforce.
 
Long-term vision. Our experience says that our clients pay attention to the initial inversion. It is very important to do an electric consumption study including heat expenses, cleaning times or detergent period changes.
