Nonylphenols are a family of closely related organic compounds composed of phenol bearing a 9 carbon-tail. Nonylphenols can come in numerous structures, all of which may be considered alkylphenols. They are used in manufacturing antioxidants, lubricating oil additives, laundry and dish detergents, emulsifiers, and solubilizers. They are used extensively in epoxy formulation in North America but its use has been phased out in Europe. These compounds are also precursors to the commercially important non-ionic surfactants alkylphenol ethoxylates and nonylphenol ethoxylates, which are used in detergents, paints, pesticides, personal care products, and plastics.

Applications

Nonylphenol is used in manufacturing antioxidants, lubricating oil additives, laundry and dish detergents, emulsifiers, and solubilizers. It can also be used to produce tris(4-nonyl-phenyl) phosphite (TNPP), which is an antioxidant used to protect polymers, such as rubber, Vinyl polymers, polyolefins, and polystyrenics in addition to being a stabilizer in plastic food packaging. Barium and calcium salts of nonylphenol are also used as heat stabilizers for polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Nonylphenol is also often used an intermediate in the manufacture of the non-ionic surfactants nonylphenol ethoxylates, which are used in detergents, paints, pesticides, personal care products, and plastics.

Canada Chemical is one of the leading Hexane manufacturers, exporters, and suppliers in Vancouver, Montreal ,Quebec, Ontario, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa Canada. We are supplied to various industrial markets including Household, Institutional Cleaning, Personal Care, and Industrial sectors including Oil fields, chemical, Animal feed additive, Food additive, Agrochemical, Fertilizer, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, Minerals, Lubricants, Marine Industry, Metal Working chemical industry, and Coatings markets.

Hexane is an organic compound, a straight-chain alkane with six carbon atoms and has the molecular formula C6H14.Hexane is a significant constituent of gasoline. It is a colorless liquid, odorless when pure, and with boiling points approximately 69 °C (156 °F). It is widely used as a cheap, relatively safe, largely unreactive, and easily evaporated non-polar solvent.

Hexane is an organic compound with a molecular formula of C6H14. It belongs to linear saturated aliphatic hydrocarbons. It is obtained from crude oil cracking and fractionation. It is a colorless liquid with a faint special odor. It is volatile, almost insoluble in water, and easily soluble in chloroform, ether, and ethanol. Mainly used as solvent, such as vegetable oil extraction solvent, propylene polymerization solvent, rubber and paint solvent, pigment diluent. It is used for the extraction of various edible oils such as soybeans, rice bran, cottonseeds, and oils in spices. In addition, the isomerization of n-hexane is one of the important processes for producing high-octane gasoline blending component

The term hexanes refers to a mixture, composed largely (>60%) of hexane, with varying amounts of the isomeric compounds 2-methylpentane and 3-methylpentane, and, possibly, smaller amounts of nonisomeric C5, C6, and C7 (cyclo)alkanes. Hexanes are cheaper than hexane and are often used in large-scale operations not requiring a single isomer (e.g., as cleaning solvent or for chromatography).

Uses
In industry, hexanes are used in the formulation of glues for shoes, leather products, and roofing. They are also used to extract cooking oils (such as canola oil or soy oil) from seeds, for cleansing and degreasing a variety of items, and in textile manufacturing. They are commonly used in food based soybean oil extraction in the United States, and are potentially present as contaminants in all soy food products in which the technique is used; the lack of regulation by the FDA of this contaminant is a matter of some controversy.

A typical laboratory use of hexanes is to extract oil and grease contaminants from water and soil for analysis. Since hexane cannot be easily deprotonated, it is used in the laboratory for reactions that involve very strong bases, such as the preparation of organolithiums. For example, butyllithiums are typically supplied as a hexane solution.

Hexanes are commonly used in chromatography as a non-polar solvent. Higher alkanes present as impurities in hexanes have similar retention times as the solvent, meaning that fractions containing hexane will also contain these impurities. In preparative chromatography, concentration of a large volume of hexanes can result in a sample that is appreciably contaminated by alkanes. This may result in a solid compound being obtained as an oil and the alkanes may interfere with analysis.

Used in solvents, extraction, organic synthesis, cleaning in the electronics industry, as an extractant in the pharmaceutical industry, and also as an extractant for edible vegetable oils
Mainly used as solvent, such as vegetable oil extraction solvent, propylene polymerization solvent, rubber and paint solvent, pigment diluent. It is used for the extraction of various edible oils such as soybeans, rice bran, cottonseeds and other spices. In addition, it is also a high-octane fuel.

Determination of moisture in methanol. UV spectrum analysis. Pesticide residue analysis. High performance liquid chromatography. Gas chromatographic analysis standard. Biochemical research, protein sequence analysis. Determine the refractive index of minerals. Organic Synthesis. Replace mercury in thermometers.
Used as analytical reagent and solvent.

Canada Chemical is one of the leading Calcium carbide manufacturers, exporters, and suppliers in Vancouver, Montreal ,Quebec, Ontario, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa Canada. We are supplied to various industrial markets including Household, Institutional Cleaning, Personal Care, and Industrial sectors including Oil fields, chemical, Animal feed additive, Food additive, Agrochemical, Fertilizer, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, Minerals, Lubricants, Marine Industry, Metal Working chemical industry, and Coatings markets.

Calcium carbide, also known as calcium acetylide, is a chemical compound with the chemical formula of CaC2. Its main use industrially is in the production of acetylene and calcium cyanamide.

The pure material is colorless, however pieces of technical-grade calcium carbide are grey or brown and consist of about 80–85% of CaC2 (the rest is CaO (calcium oxide), Ca3P2 (calcium phosphide), CaS (calcium sulfide), Ca3N2 (calcium nitride), SiC (silicon carbide), etc.). In the presence of trace moisture, technical-grade calcium carbide emits an unpleasant odor reminiscent of garlic.

Applications of calcium carbide include manufacture of acetylene gas, and for generation of acetylene in carbide lamps; manufacture of chemicals for fertilizer; and in steelmaking.

Other names
Calcium percarbide
Calcium carbide
Calcium dicarbide

.Application of calcium carbide
Calcium carbide is  one of the basic raw material of organic synthesis industry. It is also an important raw material of acetylene industry.

(1)The reaction of calcium carbide with water, producing acetylene and calcium hydroxide.[CaC2 + 2 H2O → C2H2 + Ca(OH)2].
This reaction was the basis of the industrial manufacture of acetylene, and is the major industrial use of calcium carbide.
eg.synthetize rubber, synthetic resin, acetone, ketene and carbon blace.Meanwhile oxygen-acetylene flame is widely used in metal welding and cutting.

(2)Heating powdered calcium carbide and nitrogen to producing calcium cyanamide, which can react with sodium chloride producing black cyanide.  black cyanide is used in gold mining and non-ferrous metal industry.

(3)Steelmaking: as a powerful deoxidizer at ladle treatment facilities.

(4)Calcium carbide is used in carbide lamps, in which water drips on the carbide and the acetylene formed is ignited.

(5)In the ripening of fruit, calcium carbide is sometimes used as source of acetylene gas, which is a ripening agent similar to ethylene.

Steelmaking
Calcium carbide is used:

in the desulfurization of iron (pig iron, cast iron and steel
as a fuel in steelmaking to extend the scrap ratio to liquid iron, depending on economics.
as a powerful deoxidizer at ladle treatment facilities.

Other uses
Calcium carbide is sometimes used as source of acetylene gas, which is a ripening agent similar to ethylene. However, this is illegal in some countries as, in the production of acetylene from calcium carbide, contamination often leads to trace production of phosphine and arsine. These impurities can be removed by passing the acetylene gas through acidified copper sulfate solution, but, in developing countries, this precaution is often neglected.

Calcium carbide is used in toy cannons such as the Big-Bang Cannon, as well as in bamboo cannons. In the Netherlands calcium carbide is used around new-year to shoot with milk churns.

Calcium carbide, together with calcium phosphide, is used in floating, self-igniting naval signal flares, such as those produced by the Holmes' Marine Life Protection Association.

Calcium carbide is used to determine the moisture content of soil. When soil and calcium carbide are mixed in a closed pressure cylinder, the water content in soil reacts with calcium carbide to release acetylene whose pressure can be measured to determine the moisture content.

Calcium carbide is sold commercially as a mole repellent. When it comes into contact with water, the produced gas drives away the moles.

Canada Chemical is one of the leading Triethanolamine manufacturers, exporters, and suppliers in Vancouver, Montreal ,Quebec, Ontario, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa Canada. We are supplied to various industrial markets including Household, Institutional Cleaning, Personal Care, and Industrial sectors including Oil fields, chemical, Animal feed additive, Food additive, Agrochemical, Fertilizer, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, Minerals, Lubricants, Marine Industry, Metal Working chemical industry, and Coatings markets.

Triethanolamine, or TEA is a viscous organic compound that is both a tertiary amine and a triol. A triol is a molecule with three alcohol groups.

Triethanolamine is used primarily in making surfactants, such as for emulsifier. It is a common ingredient in formulations used for both industrial and consumer products. The triethanolamine neutralizes fatty acids, adjusts and buffers the pH, and solubilizes oils and other ingredients that are not completely soluble in water. Triethanolammonium salts in some cases are more soluble than salts of alkali metals that might be used otherwise, and results in less alkaline products than would from using alkali metal hydroxides to form the salt. Some common products in which triethanolamine is found are sunscreen lotions, liquid laundry detergents, dishwashing liquids, general cleaners, hand sanitizers, polishes, metalworking fluids, paints, shaving cream and printing inks.

Cement production

Triethanolamine is also used as organic additive (0.1 wt%) in the grinding of cement clinker. It facilitates the grinding process by preventing agglomeration and coating of the powder at the surface of balls and mill wall.

Cosmetics and medicine

Various ear diseases and infections are treated with eardrops containing triethanolamine polypeptide oleate-condensate, such as Cerumenex in the United States. In pharmaceutics, triethanolamine is the active ingredient of some eardrops used to treat impacted earwax. It also serves as a pH balancer in many different cosmetic products, ranging from cleansing creams and milks, skin lotions, eye gels, moisturizers, shampoos, shaving foams, TEA is a fairly strong base: a 1% solution has a pH of approximately 10, whereas the pH of skin is less than pH 7, approximately 5.5−6.0. Cleansing milk–cream emulsions based on TEOA are particularly good at removing makeup.

Derivatives
Amustaline
Trolnitrate
Trimustine
In the laboratory and in amateur photography
Another common use of TEOA is as a complexing agent for aluminium ions in aqueous solutions. This reaction is often used to mask such ions before complexometric titrations with another chelating agent such as EDTA. TEOA has also been used in photographic (silver halide) processing. It has been promoted as a useful alkali by amateur photographers.

In holography

TEOA is used to provide a sensitivity boost to silver-halide-based holograms, and also as a swelling agent to color shift holograms. It is possible to get the sensitivity boost without color shift by rinsing out the TEA before squeegee and drying.

In electroless plating
TEOA is now commonly and very effectively used as a complexing agent in electroless plating.

In ultrasonic testing
2-3% in water TEOA is used as an corrosion inhibitor (anti-rust) agent in immersion ultrasonic testing.

In aluminium soldering
Triethanolamine, diethanolamine and aminoethylethanolamine are major components of common liquid organic fluxes for the soldering of aluminium alloys using tin-zinc and other tin or lead-based soft solders.

Canada Chemical is one of the leading Morpholine manufacturers, exporters, and suppliers in Vancouver, Montreal ,Quebec, Ontario, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa Canada. We are supplied to various industrial markets including Household, Institutional Cleaning, Personal Care, and Industrial sectors including Oil fields, chemical, Animal feed additive, Food additive, Agrochemical, Fertilizer, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, Minerals, Lubricants, Marine Industry, Metal Working chemical industry, and Coatings markets.

Morpholine is an organic chemical compound having the chemical formula O(CH2CH2)2NH. This heterocycle features both amine and ether functional groups. Because of the amine, morpholine is a base; its conjugate acid is called morpholinium. For example, treating morpholine with hydrochloric acid makes the salt morpholinium chloride. It is a colorless liquid with a weak, ammonia- or fish-like odor. The naming of morpholine is attributed to Ludwig Knorr, who incorrectly believed it to be part of the structure of morphine.

Other names

Diethylenimide oxide
1,4-Oxazinane
Tetrahydro-1,4-oxazine
Diethylene imidoxide
Diethylene oximide
Tetrahydro-p-oxazine

Uses
Industrial applications

Morpholine is a common additive, in parts per million concentrations, for pH adjustment in both fossil fuel and nuclear power plant steam systems. Morpholine is used because its volatility is about the same as water, so once it is added to the water, its concentration becomes distributed rather evenly in both the water and steam phases. Its pH-adjusting qualities then become distributed throughout the steam plant to provide corrosion protection. Morpholine is often used in conjunction with low concentrations of hydrazine or ammonia to provide a comprehensive all-volatile treatment chemistry for corrosion protection for the steam systems of such plants. Morpholine decomposes reasonably slowly in the absence of oxygen at the high temperatures and pressures in these steam systems.

Organic synthesis

Morpholine undergoes most chemical reactions typical for other secondary amines, though the presence of the ether oxygen withdraws electron density from the nitrogen, rendering it less nucleophilic (and less basic) than structurally similar secondary amines such as piperidine. For this reason, it forms a stable chloramine.

It is commonly used to generate enamines.

Morpholine is widely used in organic synthesis. For example, it is a building block in the preparation of the antibiotic linezolid, the anticancer agent gefitinib (Iressa) and the analgesic dextromoramide.

In research and in industry, the low cost and polarity of morpholine lead to its common use as a solvent for chemical reactions.

Agriculture

As a fruit coating
Morpholine is used as a chemical emulsifier in the process of waxing fruit. Naturally, fruits make waxes to protect against insects and fungal contamination, but this can be lost as the fruit is cleaned. A small amount of new wax is applied to replace it. Morpholine is used as an emulsifier and solubility aid for shellac, which is used as a wax for fruit coating. The European Union has forbidden the use of morpholine in fruit coating.

As a component in fungicides

Morpholine derivatives used as agricultural fungicides in cereals are known as ergosterol biosynthesis inhibitors.

Amorolfine
Fenpropimorph
Tridemorph

Application

Used as an intermediate for organic synthesis, especially for rubber chemicals for vulcanization and stabilization, Corrosion inhibitors and so on.

Morpholine Usage

(1) For medicine, it used as the raw materials for rubber accelerator and fluorescent whitening agent.

(2) Morpholine is the intermediates of fungicide dimethomorph and flumorpholine and organophosphate insecticide phosalphos.

(3) Morpholine is Mainly used for the production of rubber vulcanization accelerator, but also for surfactant, textile auxiliaries, pharmaceuticals, pesticide synthesis.

(4) Morpholine also used as a catalyst for polymerization of butadiene, corrosion inhibitors, optical bleach, the goods are dyes, resins, wax, early glue, casein and other solvents. At present, the total production of morpholine in the world is 3-4 million t/a.

(5) Morpholine salts are also widely used. Morpholine salts like morpholine hydrochloride (10024-89-2) are the organic synthesis of intermediates. Morpholine fatty acid salt can be used as the coating agent of fruits or vegetables epidermal coating agent, and it could inhibit the base respiration and prevent the epidermis from evaporation of water and epidermal atrophy.

(6) Morpholine is the main raw materials of accelerator NOBS. for analysis reagents and resins, wax, shellac and other solvents, used in the production of sodium sulfate. Water glass and ultramarine. Also used in the manufacture of glass. Paper. Detergent. Soap. Dye. Synthetic fiber. Tanning. Medicine and ceramics industries. Analysis reagents, such as nitrogen determination, dehydrating agent.

(7) Morpholine is used for the analysis of reagents and resins, wax, casein, shellac and a variety of solvents solvent.

(8) Morpholine could produce salt after reacting with inorganic acid, and it also could produce salt or amide after reacting with organic acid. It also can be alkylated, and it also could come up a ketone reaction or Willgerodt reaction with ethylene oxide.

Canada Chemical is one of the leading Heptane or n-heptane manufacturers, exporters, and suppliers in Vancouver, Montreal ,Quebec, Ontario, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa Canada. We are supplied to various industrial markets including Household, Institutional Cleaning, Personal Care, and Industrial sectors including Oil fields, chemical, Animal feed additive, Food additive, Agrochemical, Fertilizer, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, Minerals, Lubricants, Marine Industry, Metal Working chemical industry, and Coatings markets.

Heptane or n-heptane is the straight-chain alkane with the chemical formula H3C(CH2)5CH3 or C7H16, and is one of the main components of gasoline (petrol). When used as a test fuel component in anti-knock test engines, a 100% heptane fuel is the zero point of the octane rating scale (the 100 point is 100% iso-octane). Octane number equates to the anti-knock qualities of a comparison mixture of heptane and isooctane which is expressed as the percentage of isooctane in heptane and is listed on pumps for gasoline (petrol) dispensed globally.

Heptane (and its many isomers) is widely used in laboratories as a non-polar solvent. As a liquid, it is ideal for transport and storage. In the grease spot test, heptane is used to dissolve an oil spot to show the previous presence of organic compounds on a stained paper. This is done by shaking the stained paper in a heptane solution for about half a minute.

Aqueous bromine may be distinguished from aqueous iodine by its appearance after extraction into heptane. In water, both bromine and iodine appear brown. However, iodine turns purple when dissolved in heptane, whereas the bromine solution remains brown.

Heptane is commercially available as mixed isomers for use in paints and coatings, as the rubber cement solvent "Bestine", the outdoor stove fuel "Powerfuel" by Primus, as pure n-heptane for research and development and pharmaceutical manufacturing and as a minor component of gasoline.

1. Mainly used as a standard for determining octane number, and also as anesthetic, solvent and raw material for organic synthesis
2. Used as analytical reagent and solvent
3. Extraction solvent.
4. Used as analytical reagent, gasolin engine knock test standard, chromatographic analysis reference substance, solvent. This product can stimulate the respiratory tract and has an anesthetic effect at high concentrations. It is flammable, and the limit concentration of explosive mixture in the air is 1.0-6.0% (volume).
5. Biochemical research, protein sequence analysis. Determination of ozone and triglycerides. Analysis of pesticide residues. Spectral and fluorescence analysis. Standard fuel for testing the anti-knock performance of gasolin.

Application    Chemical raw materials;Aliphatic hydrocarbons

Usage

N-he-ptane is a typical non-polar solvent. It is often used as a standard for determining octane number, anesthetics, organic synthesis raw materials, etc. It is also widely used in medicine, pesticides, rubber synthesis, chemical fiber synthesis, reagents, electronic cleaning and other industries. N-oc-tane is used as a solvent and chromatographic analysis standard substance, also used in organic synthesis.

The organic compound 1,1,1-trichloroethane, also known as methyl chloroform, is a chloroalkane. This colorless, sweet-smelling liquid was once produced industrially in large quantities for use as a solvent. It is regulated by the Montreal Protocol as an ozone-depleting substance and its use is being rapidly phased out.

Other names
1,1,1-TCA, Methyl chloroform, Chlorothene, Solvent 111, R-140a, Genklene

1,1,1-Trichloroethane is generally considered a non-polar solvent. Owing to the good polarizability of the chlorine atoms, it is a superior solvent for organic compounds that do not dissolve well in hydrocarbons such as hexane. It is an excellent solvent for many organic materials and also one of the least toxic of the chlorinated hydrocarbons. Prior to the Montreal Protocol, it was widely used for cleaning metal parts and circuit boards, as a photoresist solvent in the electronics industry, as an aerosol propellant, as a cutting fluid additive, and as a solvent for inks, paints, adhesives, and other coatings. 1,1,1-Trichloroethane is also used as an insecticidal fumigant.

It was also the standard cleaner for photographic film (movie/slide/negatives, etc.). Other commonly available solvents damage emulsion, and thus are not suitable for this application. The standard replacement, Forane 141 is much less effective, and tends to leave a residue. 1,1,1-Trichloroethane was used as a thinner in correction fluid products such as liquid paper.

Ethanolamine (2-aminoethanol, monoethanolamine, ETA, or MEA) is an organic chemical compound with the formula HOCH
2CH2NH2 or C2H7NO. The molecule is bifunctional, containing both a primary amine and a primary alcohol. Ethanolamine is a colorless, viscous liquid with an odor reminiscent of ammonia. ETA molecules are a component in the formation of cellular membranes and are thus a molecular building block for life. It was thought to exist only on Earth and on certain asteroids, but in 2021 evidence was found that ETA molecules exist in interstellar space.

Ethanolamine is also known as "aminoethanol". Chemical formula HOCH2CH2NH2. The molecular weight is 61.08. Colorless viscous liquid. Easy to absorb moisture and smell of ammonia. The specific gravity is 1.0117 (25/4°C). The melting point is 10.3°C. The boiling point is 170.8°C. The refractive index is 1.4539. It is miscible with water, methanol and acetone, slightly soluble in benzene, ether, and slightly soluble in n-pentane. It is strongly alkaline, dissociation constant K=3.39×10-Chemicalbook10 (25ºC); 25% aqueous solution has a pH of 12.1, which can absorb carbon dioxide in the air. Its hydrochloride is a hygroscopic crystal with a melting point of 75-77°C. Industrially produced by the reaction of ethylene oxide and ammonia. Ethanolamine is an important chemical raw material used to make medicines, fragrances, surfactants, paints, emulsifiers, etc. It is also a leather softener and pesticide dispersant; it can also be used for gas purification to remove carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide in the gas.
