• Activated carbon is useful in drinking water treatment because it acts as an adsorbent, and can effectively remove particles and organics from water. These organics are of great concern in water treatment because they react with many disinfectants, especially chlorine.
• The use of Granular Activated Carbon in wastewater treatment systems is a proven process for removal of organic compounds. As a tertiary treatment method, carbon adsorption and regeneration have been used to process domestic wastewaters contaminated with industrial wastes of organic origin as well as biologically treated waste waters. Powdered varieties of Activated Carbon are used in liquid phase application  primarily for removal of undesired color, smell and other impurities in many types of industries Including basic drugs, fine chemicals, glucose, sugar, electroplating plasticizers and so on.  Quite often, powdered carbon is washed with acid and then, repeatedly with water & dried  to minimize impurities like soluble ash-iron, heavy metals etc. Activated Carbon is Invariably used in a batch process at the penultimate stage of manufacture of a product. Sodium Chlorate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula NaClO3. It is a white crystalline powder that is readily soluble in water. It is hygroscopic. It decomposes above 300 °C to release oxygen[4] and leave sodium chloride. Several hundred million tons are produced annually, mainly for applications in bleaching pulp to produce high brightness paper.

Product Application:
The main commercial use for sodium chlorate is for making chlorine dioxide (ClO2). The largest application of ClO2, which accounts for about 95% of the use of chlorate, is in bleaching of pulp. All perchlorate compounds are produced industrially by the oxidation of solutions of sodium chlorate by electrolysis.
Herbicides: Sodium chlorate is used as a non-selective herbicide. It is considered phytotoxic to all green plant parts. It can also kill through root absorption.
Chemical oxygen generation: Chemical oxygen generators, such as those in commercial aircraft, provide emergency oxygen to passengers to protect them from drops in cabin pressure. Oxygen is generated by high-temperature decomposition of sodium chlorate:

Powder Acid for Removal of Scale and Rust
An acidic cleaning powder with a sulphamic acid base and a corrosion inhibitor that is particularly effective for removing calcium carbonate and other inorganic scale deposition. This is mixed with fresh water 3 to 20 percent depending on deposition of scaling. After using SA-1008, sense all metal surfaces with 0.5 percent of RXSOL-54-1008-025 at least 2-4 house , up to neutrial of PH valve.
 Procedure-of-use: The most effective descaling is accomplished by circulation.In the case of small components,the soak method in an immersion bath can be used. If the equipment to be cleaned is contaminated by oil, grease or sludge, then pre-cleaning with DEGREASER ( RXSOL OB 1005 ) is necessary. Depending on the extent of scaling, use a solution of 2.5-10% RXSOL-54-1008-025 . The solution will have a red colour which changes to orange when 85% of the acid has been neutralized , & to colourless  when the solution is totally neutralized. Whenever possible, the solution should be heated to 60°C.Neutralised  solutions can be re-activated by adding more RXSOL-54-1008-025  until the red colour reappears. This should not be done more than twice. RXSOL-54-1008-025  should not be used on Aluminium , Zinc, Tin or Galvanized surfaces.

Product Application:
The correct quantities of requirement for descaling will depend upon the character and thickness of scale deposits.  For regular descaling prepare a 2 %u2013 4% solution with cold water, and fill the tank just below the overflow level, or One packet of 100 gram  add to the water for  a dummy cycle run, this helps remove any scales that  might have formed.   Apply higher strength to highly contaminated  scale . Drain the tank and fill with cold water and run the machine for 5 minutes and flush with water until the outlet water shows neutral  pH.  Good results are obtained when descaling is done at 60 Deg. C.

A defoamer or an anti-foaming agent is a chemical additive that reduces and hinders the formation of foam in industrial process liquids. The terms anti-foam agent and defoamer are often used interchangeably.
DEFOAMER is a stable white emulsion formulated to quickly eliminate foam in recovery tanks of hot and cold water soil extractors, automatic shampooing equipment, and floor scrubbers.

Product Application:

• Detergents: Anti-foams are added in certain types of detergents to reduce foaming that might decrease the action of the detergent. For example, dishwasher detergents have to be low foaming for the dishwasher to work properly.
• Food: When used as an ingredient in food, antifoaming agents are intended to curb effusion or effervescence in preparation or serving. The agents are included in a variety of foods and in materials for food preparation; McDonald's includes polydimethylsiloxane (a type of silicone) in its oil to mitigate hazardous splashes of oil caused by foaming in fryers, so it has been listed as an ingredient in their chicken nuggets, french fries, and other fried menu items.
• Industrial use: Defoamers are used in many industrial processes and products: wood pulp, paper, paint, industrial wastewater treatment, food processing, oil drilling, machine tool industry, oils cutting tools, hydraulics, etc.
• Pharmaceuticals: Antifoaming agents are also sold commercially to relieve bloating. A familiar example is the drug Simethicone, which is the active ingredient in drugs such as Maalox, Mylanta, and Gas-X.

FAST ACTING:
Excessive foam greatly inhibits efficient recovery and continuous equipment use. As a consequence, it is important that a defoaming product work rapidly. After extensive analysis and testing of various raw materials, a silicone component was chosen as the primary ingredient for DEFOAMER due to its ability to quickly attack the surface tension of foam. As a result, rapid and total elimination of excessive foam is achieved within seconds of exposure to DEFOAMER.

SUPERIOR DEFOAMING EFFICIENCY:
Utilizing the Modified Bikerman Foam Control Test, DEFOAMER was tested against 18 competitive defoaming products currently being marketed. In every instance, DEFOAMER exhibited far superior foam knockdown and elimination.

STABLE:
Unlike the vast majority of available defoaming products, DEFOAMER is a stable emulsion and will not separate. The product will withstand 3 freeze/thaw cycles without adverse effects to the defoaming efficiency.

Using Procedure:

DEFOAMER is non-corrosive and will not harm equipment. Formulated with environmental needs in mind, DEFOAMER is phosphate free.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Some individuals may be sensitive to ingredients in this product. Before using, read product label and MSD sheet. Wet floors may be slippery. Prevent pedestrian traffic with signs or barricades.
1. Shake well before using to insure uniform dispersion.
2. USE FULL STRENGTH. DEFOAMER is ready to use. No mixing or diluting is required.
3. Add 1 oz. DEFOAMER per each 5 gallons of recovery tank or sink capacity for elimination of normal foam condition.
4. When carpeting has undergone previous and repeated shampooings, for maximum defoaming efficiency, spray
 DEFOAMER into recovery hose and onto sides of recovery tank prior to extraction.
5. When foaming is excessive, using your Spartasprayer, spray DEFOAMER directly onto foam in recovery tank as needed.

Scales are very damaging to the boiler because they interfere with the heat transfer and can lead to overheating and eventually, boiler rupture , To increas usable life of cleaned equipment , it is safe and effective way to remove scale deposits from all types of water-cooled and water-heated equipment. This descaler specifically formulated and developed to rapidly clean mineral scale from passages in water-cooled or heated equipment. It improves Plant Efficiency, Lowers Cost, Conserves Energy, Decreases Down-Time.
It does not contain toxic cresols or other tar oils that Require SARA Title III, Section 313 spill loss or disposal.

Do not use concentrated 1008 on aluminium surfaces
Uniqueness of 1008 :: —
RXSOL 1008 Descaler has the ability to dissolve approximately 1.5kg of calcium carbonate scale per gallon in concentrated form. It does not need to be heated up during cleaning. The uniqueness of this Descaler allows you to clean some equipment while still in operation utilizing a minimum of your own personnel.

 It Effectively Removes Scale, Heavy Slime and Algae from surface. RXSOL 555 is an inhibited phosphoric acid descaler which is much safer and non-fuming. Also  safe on paint.
Using Procedure:
RXSOL-11-1008-020  is mixed with fresh water 3 to 20 percent depending on deposition of scaling.
The most effective method is circulation for large systems or components like boilers, evaporators, condensers, heat exchangers and generally closed systems that have the capability to circulate at a temperature of approximately 40-60°C, for 6-12 hours and solutions of 5-40% of RXSOL-11-1008-020 in water. Keep in mind that the strength of the solution is analogous to the degree of deposition of scale .
In case of small components , the soak method in an immersion bath can be used.
If the equipment to be cleaned is contaminated by oil, grease, sludge or carbonized oil, then first of all clean the system with degreaser  RXSOL-10-1005. RXSOL-11-1008-020 should be mixed with fresh water to form a solution of 10-30%, depending on the extent of scaling. After using RXSOL-11-1008-020 ,  
PRECAUTION :::it is essential to thoroughly rinse all metal surfaces at least once with a 0.5% solution of  RXSO-20-2005  in fresh water. This solution should be circulated for 2-4 hours or until an acceptable pH value is obtained. This will neutralize any remaining acidity & passivate steel surfaces.
RXSOL-11-1008-020 should not be used on Aluminium, Zinc, Tin, or any Galvanized Surfaces for which a special grade cleaner should be used. KITCHEN & BATHROOM CLEANER , lime eater dissolves hard and old lime scale deposits from your appliances. It extends the life of the appliance and saves running cost. It can be used in appliances such as Washing Machines, Dish Washers, Geysers, Steam Iron, Coffee Makers, Bath Tubs, Bathroom Fixtures etc.
It is a blend of surfactants, chelating agent, organic thickener, quaternery halide, phosphoric acid and perfume.
It is the ultimate in washroom cleaning and can be used on toilets, sinks and showers without fear of damage to the finish on stainless steel.
It is excellent for use on terazzo and quarry tiled floors, leaving all areas fresh, gleaming and clean.
It does not contain any harsh abrasives and afteruse leaves a pleasent fragrance.

Product Application:
The correct quantities of RXSOL-11-1052-025 requirement for descaling will depend upon the character and thickness of scale deposits.  For regular de-scaling of dish washing machines prepare a 2- 4% solution with cold water, and fill the tank just below the overflow level, heat the mixture and allow to run machine until lime scale deposits disappear.   Apply full strength to highly contaminated  areas where spray does not reach.  Drain the tank and fill with cold water and run the machine for 5 minutes and flush with water until the outlet water shows neutral  pH.  Good results are obtained when descaling is done at 60 Deg. C.
Dip tank method can be used for brightening aluminum, stainless steel equipments and utensils.  Prepare a 3 -5% solution of RXSOL-11-1052-025   with water and soak the utensils for a while to obtain a bright surface.  Wash thoroughly with cold water and rinse dry.

Using Procedure:
Kettle De scalling procedure :::
Use instructions
1. Fill 3/4 parts of  kettle with water  and makes it boil fully , then disconnect heating procedure before going to 2nd step.
2. Add amount of RX 8 and leave to work. ( doses can vary on deposition of scale, For general and routine cleaning add 3 – 5% )
3. After cleaning effect flush / wash with fresh water.
4. Extra cleaning can be repeated with once more Boil water without addition of RX8 and pour away before using again.

RXSOL-11-1052-025 is a mild descaling liquid suitably designed to remove lime, food films and water scales from metallic and plastic surfaces in food processing operations.  It attacks the built up calcium, magnesium or iron scales instantly and removes the scales.  It finds extensive applications in de-liming machines, steam tables, cleaning stainless steel and iron equipments, floors, shower stalls, tiles, walls or any surface to be cleaned from scale deposits.  It contains a mixture of liquid acids inhibited to arrest its attack on metals.  It will not attack plastic, hard metal or any other surfaces, if used as directed.
